About Author's Corner
Author’s Corner has been helping authors publish their books for over ten years and has built a reputation for high-quality editing and publication services. Hugh and Karen Daniel, as co-owners, have continued the tradition of customer service originated by Author’s Corner founders, Bob and Judy Allen.
Hugh Daniel, Publisher/Author Representative
Hugh has been working with authors for over 17 years, publishing over 140 books on almost every topic imaginable, including: philosophy, geology, poetry, family history and genealogy, self-help, local and international histories, action/adventure series, historical and Christian fiction. Karen Daniel, Associate Editor
Karen has worked for many years as a financial analyst at the Owen Graduate School of Management and at Vanderbilt University, where in addition to other responsibilities, she frequently wrote and edited organizational reports. Her work with Author’s Corner includes editing, copyediting, and social media. She currently teaches Hebrew and special studies online, and is also a gifted, award-winning songwriter and performer. Stephanie Poplar, Independent Author Representative
Stephanie is a dynamic author, radio host, international speaker & trainer, and Business Development Resource Consultant. She has been representing authors for well over 20 years and has been a Nonprofit Specialist for over 24 years. Known for networking and bringing resources together to help clients, she holds her M.A. in Legal, Ethical & Historical Studies; her B.A. in Government & Public Policy from the University of Baltimore, and an A.A. in General Studies from Stevenson University.
Her networking skills landed her on radio over 15 years ago, where she empowers thousands of listeners. The Founding of Author’s Corner
In 2006, after viewing the Hallmark movie The Reading Room, Bob and Judy Allen were inspired to help others hone their writing skills and turn their publication dreams into realities. Thus, they established Author’s Corner to help burgeoning authors edit and publish their books. Before Hugh and Karen became involved in Author’s Corner, the Allen’s edited or published nearly eighty books and made many long-time and enduring connections with their authors.
