Michael DiDio grew up in California and in his teen years he fell in love with the music of Elvis Presley and told all his girlfriends that their forever song was Love Me Tender. After a move to Tennessee, he colored his hair jet black, grew sideburns, and many folks referred to him as Elvis D. After being first in line at the Nashville Post Office to purchase twenty-nine cent Elvis Aron Presley commemorative stamps, he was spotted by reporters and became quite famous as an Elvis impersonator in and around Nashville. He was a headliner on the Elvis Love Dinner Train that ran from Nashville to Lebanon and was a frequent guest on The Nashville Network cable channel and many other venues in middle Tennessee.
